SpaceTime's Space Adventure
Workshops are activity-based programs that get kids energized and excited
about science through two single-event type formats.
The
classroom format
is designed
for smaller groups of children and provides a hands-on, interactive
experience allowing each child to participate in the workshop activities.
These programs are designed to tie into and compliment classroom-based
curricula and are often associated with science fairs and special space
events like meteor showers and space mission launches.
The
assembly format
is designed for larger audiences and
is presented as a high-energy "space show" including props and special
effects, with the children participating in the activities on a volunteer
basis. These shows make great "edutainment" for back-to-school nights
and other school and PTA/PTO functions.
