Educational Programs

As Colorado's premier space science educational services provider, SpaceTime makes learning fun and meaningful with program content designed to complement classroom-based instruction for Kindergarten through Grade 6. All of our programs are aligned with Colorado Department of Education standards and utilize an integrated approach that enriches the learning experience and encourages the application of critical thinking skills.

WORKSHOPS

SpaceTime workshops are dynamic, interactive experiences that incorporate hands-and minds-on group activities. Exciting 3D visuals and scale models of planets and spacecraft bring the excitement and the challenges of space exploration into the classroom. Each workshop package includes an engaging, high-energy presentation punctuated with thought-provoking brainstorming and focal-type questions to encourage student participation. In addition, teachers are provided with a copy of SpaceTime’s Space Space Education Resource Guide (SSERG), which contains pre-and post-workshop activities that complement workshop content and enhance classroom lessons.

Pricing models are designed to fit almost any class or group and start at $109 for a 45 minute program. We can also put together custom packages for special events or other occasions ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours in length.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

SpaceTime’s Space Adventure enrichment programs provide students with opportunities for learning in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The courses are designed to complement classroom-based curricula with content connections that explore Earth, Space and Physical Sciences.

Space Adventure programs are offered in five to ten, 45, 60 or 75 - minute class configurations and can incorporate our SpaceTime Funds Booster Program which donates a portion of the proceeds directly to school science programs or their PTAs and PTOs.
